The short-listed riders for the 2007 Canadian Eventing Team have been announced.
The riders were selected primarily based on their results at FEI international eventing competitions (CCI/ CCIO/CH) at the three- or four-star level in the 2006 season.
The short-listed riders and their mounts along with their hometown are listed below:
• Kyle Carter on Madison Park, Sparr, Florida, USA.
• Sandra Donnelly (pictured right) on Buenos Aires, Calgary, AB.
• Kelli McMullen-Temple on Paris, Round Hill, Virginia, USA.
• Ian Roberts on Napalm, Port Perry, ON.
• Penny Rowland on Windswept, Orangeville, ON.
• Michael Winter on King Pin, Newnan, Georgia, USA.

Western Canada was well represented at the Galway Downs International Three Day Event November 2 to 5, 2006 in Temecula, California, where all nine Canadian competitors in the standings hailed from either Alberta or British Columbia.
Hawley Bennett of Langley, BC, had immense success in the CIC-W*** World Cup Qualifier at Rebecca Farm, held July 21 to 23, 2006 in Kalispell, MT. Bennett claimed third in the CIC-W*** World Cup Qualifier division riding Livingstone, who she co-owns with her mother, Gerry.
The Edmonton-area landscape is changing – and for the better. A new and long-awaited cross country course is being constructed two miles west of the town of Beaumont, just east of Highway 2.
