The Calgary Stampede, Wrangler, and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) have announced a special “30-Hours of Tough” campaign that will help kick-off this year’s Calgary Stampede by celebrating and supporting the tens of thousands of volunteers across Canada involved in breast cancer fundraising efforts.
“The Stampede is tremendously proud to help raise awareness and funds for a cause that has touched the lives of so many families,” says George Brookman, president and chairman of the Calgary Stampede.

On June 2 at the Okotoks Agricultural Society arena, 75 ladies will be competing against the clock in team penning while raising funds for a surgical recovery room. This room is being created by the Calgary Health Trust for individuals who have undergone surgery for breast cancer.
