Former driver to take the reins as new voice of the GMC Rangeland Derby
Calgary, AB—The Calgary Stampede is pleased to announce that veteran chuckwagon and rodeo announcer Les McIntyre is the new voice of the GMC Rangeland Derby. McIntyre becomes only the second person in Calgary Stampede chuckwagon history to call the races, taking the reins from the legendary Joe Carbury who retired in 2008 after 45 years.
